Mr. and Mrs. Jones 50th Wedding Anniversary AUGUSTA - Morgan C. Jones and Harriett P. Jones were united in marriage on October 19, 1959 in Aiken, S.C. Morgan and Harriett's children and grandchildren sent the couple to Hilton Head for a week. The day following their return, they were surprised with a celebration with 100 family and friends. At the celebration Rev. David Ritchey officiated as they renewed their vows. A reception immediately followed. Following the reception the couple went to Gatlinburg, Tenn. Morgan and Harriett have one son, Morgan C. Jones II of Augusta; two daughters, Pamela J. Bourbo (David Bourbo) of Evans, Ga. and Susan J. Mobley (Ty Mobley) of Hephzibah, Ga. and two grandchildren, Neil and Jeffrey Bourbo. Morgan is Chairman of Deacons at Open Door Baptist Church and a retired contractor building material salesman. Harriett is a homemaker and is a church hostess at Open Door Baptist Church.
