AUGUSTA - Charles M. Lass and Betty Williamson Lass were united in marriage on November 8, 1959 at Woodlawn Baptist Church. They are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception with family and friends at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Grovetown, Ga. hosted by their children. Charlie and Betty have two daughters, Lynn L. Jenkins and husband Steve of Troutman, N.C. and Carolyn L. Bugg of Hephzibah, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Brenae Waugh and husband Austin, Lauren Jenkins, Tyler Bugg, Ryan Bugg, and Kelli Bugg. Charlie is retired from the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. He enjoys golfing, sports, and traveling. Betty is retired from John P. King Mfg. Co. She enjoys traveling and exercising.
